Why This Works

I don’t teach formulas or trends. I teach you how to think about content so you can tell better stories no matter the platform.
Built from real content, not theory
Designed for consistency, not virality
Focused on connection, not performance

Where this can lead

Many creators eventually reach a point where tips alone aren’t enough.

They want thoughtful feedback on their positioning, messaging, and content strategy.

From time to time, I open a small number of Storytelling & Content Strategy consulting spots where we work together to refine how you show up online — your narrative, your content structure, and the systems behind your publishing.

Down the road, I also plan to build a community for creators who want to continue developing their storytelling skills together.

For now, the best place to start is with these 30 storytelling tips.

1

• A step-by-step course that teaches how to tell better stories on social media

• Simple frameworks for showing up consistently (without burnout)

2
3

• Real examples from my own content and client work

• A community of creators learning and growing together

4
5

• Ongoing conversations about what’s working right now

What Do Other Students Say About  Learning With Dr. Tisdall

A quick note from me ↓

“I wanted to explain what I’m building — and who it’s for.”

This series is how we get to know each other. If it resonates, you’ll be the first to know what I’m building next.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this for?

This community is for anyone studying medicine who wants to stop memorizing and start understanding. Whether you’re preparing for Step 1, entering your clerkships, or simply want to think more clinically, Med School Companion will show you how to reason through medicine the way real doctors do.

Did Dr. Tisdall create this program?

Yes — every concept, video, case discussion, and word in the text book comes directly from Dr. Philip Tisdall. He built this system after decades in patient care and over a decade of teaching thousands of students for Step 1 and beyond. You’ll be learning directly from him each week inside the community.

I’m struggling with Step 1. Will this actually help?

Absolutely. Step 1 is a clinical exam built on pathophysiology. Med School Companion focuses on connecting the basic sciences to patient care, so you finally understand what each question is really testing — and how to reason your way to the answer.

What do I get when I join?

Our membership includes weekly live sessions with Dr. Tisdall, access to the digital Clinical Pathophysiology Volume 2 textbook, interactive case studies, clinical reasoning question sets, and the full Med School Companion community for discussion and support.

Is this only for U.S. students?

No — the principles of clinical reasoning apply everywhere. We welcome students from any country preparing for the USMLE or other medical licensing exams who want to learn a patient-centered, pathophysiology-based approach.

Can I join if I’m already in clinical rotations?

Yes — in fact, you’ll find it even more valuable. You’ll start seeing your patients through the lens of pathophysiology, which deepens understanding and improves presentation and diagnostic skills.

What if I can’t attend the live sessions?

All live sessions are recorded and archived in the community portal. You can watch anytime, review cases, and join follow-up discussions at your own pace.
